Route: GR 53 - Grande Rota do Caramulo (Portugal)

With about 26km in length, Grande Rota do Caramulo was designed to start at the Museu do Caramulo and last for about 8,5 hours / walking. Takes advantage of part of the route of four existing PRs, adding more extension, expanding a link between them, integrating a variant of visit to Cabeço da Neve. This great route represents one more focus of tourist visitation of the count , which enhances the ecological corridor of Serra do Caramulo. It is a way of valuing and increasing potential, attracting new audiences and tourist resources for the discovery of the territory and its natural, historical and rural landscapes. Allows the passage through the Museu do Caramulo, being also points of interest the spies, mills and the river of Múceres, the Chapel of Múceres, Linen Action Center, Capela do Menino Jesus and the landscapes of Serra do Caramulo.
