Description

Grand => Middle => South; Teton Trifecta (Summer version)

Ascend the Grand Teton via the Owen Spalding Route, starting from the Lupine Meadows trailhead. From the summit of the Grand Teton make your way down to the lower saddle the same way you came up (the standard Owen Spalding Route). From the lower saddle follow the climbers trail south to the north side of the Middle Teton. Ascend the Middle Teton.

We followed the climbers trail around a large horn to a prominent notch, downclimbed the notch and began climbing to our right (west) until we met the north facing couloir. We ascended the couloir roughly 100 vertical feet and then exited to the west on a ledge. We followed the ledge system to a low 5th class scramble and made our way to the top of the Middle Teton.

From the summit of Middle Teton follow the standard trail down the southwest couloir to the saddle between Middle and South Teton. Proceed up South Teton via the standard route. Descend from the South Teton via the standard route (South-Middle Saddle Trail) until you reach Garnet Meadows. From Garnet Meadows follow the Garnet Canyon Trail back to trailhead where you originally came from.
