The Gudbrandsdalsleden is the historic pilgrimage trail from Oslo to Trondheim, spanning approximately 643–650 km across Norway’s forests, farmland, valleys, and high mountain terrain, including the Dovrefjell plateau. The trail follows the traditional medieval route taken by pilgrims to the Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim.
The route is fully waymarked and documented by Pilegrimsleden.no. It consists of footpaths, gravel roads, forest trails, and some paved sections. Most thru-hikers complete the route in 3–4 weeks.
This submission is based on the official GPX track provided by Pilegrimsleden and begins at Gamlebyen Church in Oslo, finishing at the Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim.
