Fünf ehemalige Vulkane, fünf Burgruinen und als Zugabe sensationelle Ausblicke in die Vulkanlandschaft des Hegaus und bei entsprechendem Wetter die Alpenkette als Hintergrund. Diese Tour führt über die fünf bekanntesten Hegauvulkane, beginnend mit dem Hohenhewen, dann weiter zum Hohenstoffeln, Mädgeberg und Hohenkrähen, bis der Hohentwiel mit seiner gewaltigen Festungsruine die Tour abrundet. Anders wie auf dem offiziellen Weg beschrieben, werden hier alle Gipfel der Berge erklommen. Zusätzlich führt die Route noch über den Aussichtspunkt Offerenbühl und die Burgruine Staufen. Startpunkt der Route ist der Bahnhof in Engen; Endpunkt der Bahnhof in Singen.
Five former volcanoes, five castle ruins and an encore as a sensational view of the volcanic landscape of the Hegau and, weather permitting, the Alps as a background. This tour takes you over the five famous Hegau volcanoes, starting with the Hohenhewen, then on to the Hohenstoffeln, Mädgeberg and Hohenkrähen, until the Hohentwiel rounds off the tour with its mighty fortress ruins. Unlike the official route, all mountain peaks are climbed here. The route also leads via the Offerenbühl (view point) and the Staufen castle ruins.
