A roundtrip up to and around the summit ridge of Helagsfjället (1797 m) from the parking in Kläppen near Ljungdalen.
The first 5k are through birch forests along gravel roads and trails. Then after a slight uphill you get above the treeline and follow a wide and very easy trail for another 6,8k to the Helags mountain hut. From the hut you follow the trail toward the summit via the southern ridge, steep and rocky dirt trail at first and then talus fields. After the summit follow the northern ridge back down which has some really fun downhill running on slabs and dirt trails that are a bit vague. Then follow the trail back to the Helags hut and back to Kläppen.
