International appalachian trail (IAT) - Sentier International des Appalaches (SIA) - Maine, New-brunswick and Québec chapters.
Around 1500 km and 30 000 D+ of trails and roads unifying Kathadin Brooks and Cap Gaspé, divided in three sections:
- Maine 220 km / 3500 m D+
- New-Brunswick (300 km / 2500 D+)
- Québec (650 km / 25 000 m D+)
You’ll see the majestuous Quebec’s mountains and sea views, cross the roads and old railroad beds of New Brunswick and hike around Baxter state park, in between Canada’s and Maine’s borders. Can be done either ways. / Vous verrez les majestueuses montagnes du Québec et leur vue sur la mer, traverserez le Nouveau-Brunswick via ses routes et anciens chemins de fer, et marcherez à la frontière du Canada et du Maine, vous approchant du Baxter State Park au pied du mont Katahdin. Peut être fait dans un sens comme dans l’autre.
