Hello folks,
this Friday, Jan 17th at 07:00 local time, I will start a supported attempt to run the John Muir Way non-stop. Direction is Helensburgh to Dunbar. Sticking to the walkers route/ variant throughout.
I am not a fast runner. James Stewart's record of 21hrs 53min will be quite safe from my grubby hands, but if I reach Dunbar it will be the first known female time and maybe it will start a little movement of faster female runners going for the overall record!?
My personal goal is to complete the way in round about 30 hours. The total distance might be more like 137 miles due to a couple of diversions.
