The route follows the Jotunheimstien (350km) from Oslo to Galdhøpiggen, the highest summit in Norway. Jotunheimstien starts in the city of Oslo and follows trails through the woods, across the mountain, and to Gjendesheim in Jotunheimen. This route goes further up in the mountain to Gliterheim and down to Spiterstulen, before it ends at the top of Galdhøpiggen, the tallest mountain in Norway, Scandinavia and Northern Europe, at 2,469 m (8,100 ft) above sea level. Total distance of 400km.
