Kaiserstuhl Trail Network Theme Paths
Various theme paths with melodious names like Bee-eater Path, Nine Linden Path, or Little Owl Path take you on an exciting journey of discovery through the wonderful landscape of the volcanic Kaiserstuhl.
Discover historic loess hollow ways, romantic vineyard terraces, and a diverse and rare flora and fauna. At Kaiserstuhl-Tuniberg, you can explore the unique features of this cultural landscape on a total of ten theme routes. The individual localities are interconnected through these theme routes.
Embark on a scenic roundtrip adventure starting and ending in Ihringen by combining the Bee-eater Path and the Kaiserstuhl Path. Begin your journey in the charming village of Ihringen, setting out on the Bee-eater Path. This route will lead you through picturesque vineyard terraces and vibrant landscapes, offering a chance to spot the colorful bee-eaters that frequent the area.
Upon reaching a designated end point on the Bee-eater Path (Königschaffhausen), transition towards Endingen and onto the Kaiserstuhl Path. This trail will lead you back to Ihringen to complete the roundtrip.
