This triangle along water canals in ‘de Kempen’ is quite famous among cyclists (even professionals), because it’s good tarmac, has almost no traffic, and long straight roads/paths with only 3 major turns in 66K. It lends itself also for a good flat ultra-running route. The landscape is varied from industrial to farmland and to recreational areas with lakes and forest like here: Zilvermeer provinciaal recreatiedomein. The long straight lines may take its toll on your patience. There are plenty of cafes and other options for energy or rest along the route.
