Route: Khare Overlook Climb

This is a beautiful and common acclimitization hike out of Khare Nepal, with fantastic views of Mera Peak. It is a good "engine check" before climbing Mera itself, or a good detour on the way up. It is a short climb and can be done by following the ridgeline from just below the helipad, near where the pipe/cable for town crosses the bottom of the hill. Follow the trail along the ridgeline all the way up past the big flagpole (false summit) to the true flat plateau summit at around 5180m where there are a whole bunch of cairns and flags. The big cairn in the middle serves as the obvious top-out point.
