Description

The Kirklees Way is a 74-mile (120 km) waymarked footpath which circles the district of Kirklees in West Yorkshire, England.

It was opened in 1990 and includes a mixture of landscapes from exposed moorland tops to industrial towns in the valleys.

The GPS attached here starts at Holme village and runs clockwise, but since it is a circular route, it may be attempted in either direction and starting/ finishing at any point.

The best time I can see is Richard Anderson’s time on Open Tracking in on 8th October 2022. Time was 14:56:18. I don’t have any information on what style was used. Perhaps Richard wants to log it.

Aside from that, there seems to have been an ultra race run in 2017 (winner Andrew Connel 18:05) 2018 (James Young also 18:05)  are presumably the previous supported FKTs.
