Description

The L-Weg is a  circular route in the Bergisches Land region of western Germany, encircling the municipality of Lindlar. This FKT route starts and finishes near the village of Scheel on the Neuenberg ridge.

Covering approximately 54 km, the route follows the official “L” waymark (black “L” on white background) and forms a complete loop around Lindlar. From Scheel, the course passes near or through several small settlements typical of the region, including Fenke, Hohkeppel, Schmitzhöhe, Hommerich, Linde, and Oberbüschem before returning to the starting point.

The terrain is continuously undulating, featuring rolling hills, mixed forests, open meadows, and quiet landscapes. The route primarily follows well-maintained forest roads and hiking paths, with occasional paved sections through villages.
