The Lake Delanor Road Climb is the longest and steepest sustained road climb available along the Pine Mountain Range in F.D. Roosevelt State Park. This has been a test piece for some time for many local trail runners for both uphill climbing as well as downhill durability. The climb ascents 439 vertical feet in roughly 1.15 miles starting at the parking lot below the lake dam and going to gate/park sign at the top of the hill. The up & down option follows this same route, only with the reversal covering roughly 2.30 miles.
