This route creates an 11km loop from a standout section of the Leleg Way, a historic route built by the ancient Lelegian civilization. For centuries, people walked these paths to travel between their settlements. This segment has developed its own identity within the local trail running community for its iconic beauty and technicality, combining steep climbs, rocky singletrack, exposed ridgelines, ancient stone paths, coastal views, and challenging descents in an accessible loop.
Throughout the trail, runners are rewarded with breathtaking views of Bodrum's most iconic landmarks, including the magnificent Bodrum Castle, built by knights of Rhodes, and the site of legendary Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of ancient world. Combined with spectacular views of the Aegean Sea, the scenery makes this route unforgettable.
The trail features over 300m of total elevation gain and retains its natural, rugged character. The terrain is predominantly rocky and technical, demanding careful footing, especially on the descents.
