Description

Llwybr Y Ddraig (Dragon’s Way) is a 1,374-mile point-to-point route beginning in Chester and finishing in Cardiff. It combines three established long-distance routes — the Wales Coast Path, Offa’s Dyke Path and the Cambrian Way — with a short connecting section between Prestatyn and Conwy to create one continuous journey.

The route traces the coastline of Cymru before turning inland along Offa’s Dyke and then crossing the mountainous spine of Wales on the Cambrian Way to finish in Cardiff. The result is a single, continuous route linking the coast, borderlands and mountains of Wales.

The route is approximately 1,374 miles with 126,000+ feet of elevation gain. Following the current Welsh Coastal Path, Offa’s Dyke Path and Cambrian Way signage.
