A mega out and back route of Kosciusko National Park with huge vertical gain that includes not only an ascent, but also a descent of the largest continuous climb in Australia, Hannels Spur Track.
Given the route is mostly through wilderness, the only major options for re-fueling and aid are at Geehi Flats, Dead Horse Gap or The Pinch Campground.
The GPX starts at The Pinch Campground, but given it is an out and back, it can also be started from Geehi Flats.
You must summit Mt Kosciuszko twice as you go out and back.
This route will deliver incredible rewards as you travel from the Lower Snowy up to its very beginning.
