Mount Constitution in Moran State Park on Orcas Island, the highest point in the San Juan Islands at 2,409 feet. There are several ways to reach Mount Constitution, this loop starts at Mountain Lakes at the Twin Lakes Trailhead. For the first mile you run along the west side of Mountain Lakes. Around the 2 mile mark you will come to the junction with Twin Lakes you stay to the left at the junction. After 2.5 miles the climbing starts, until you reach the top of Mount Constitution at around mile 4. From there you will follow the signs for Little Summit. At mile 5.5 you should reach the intersection for Little Summit, which is a quick out and back. After enjoying the view at Little Summit continue downhill until you reach the trailhead where you started.
