Starting at a dirt pull out at the base of the south face, head up the scree angling towards a notch in the bottom 10% of the ridge. Gain the ridge, ascend it to the summit, passing suicide chute and a few smaller saddles. The route stays along the ridge direct and requires little to no deviation. Many descents are available but the standard summer descent leaves the summit due east along the ridge, taking social trails to Cardiff pass where a heavily trafficked trail eventually turns into a wider road that spits out at Our Lady of the Snow. From there, close out the loop by descending the LCC road just shy of a mile back to the dirt lot at the base of the climb. The loop can also be started and finished at Our Lady of the Snow.
