Description

This route is the combination of all four ascents and descents along the Yoshida Trail, Subashiri Trail, Gotemba Trail, and Fujinomiya Trail, and one time around the crater and reaching Kengamine.

Breakdown: Starting at Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station, Yoshida Trail is a zigzaggy trail. Once you ascend to the top of Mt. Fuji you will head left (clockwise) and descend Subashiri Trail and ascend back up heading clockwise to Gotemba Trail, where you will go down and back up and continue clockwise to Fujinomiya Trail and repeat. Once you ascend back up for the fourth time you will climb up to the highest point of the mountain, Kengamine, and continue to head clockwise around the crater descend back to Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station.

Traffic: The first trail, Yoshida Trail is the busiest of the Mt. Fuji trails. Towards the top of this trail, it can be very congested. The second trail, the Subashiri trail, and the Gotemba trail are less congested except when the Subashiri trail connects to Yoshida Trail towards the 8th station. Fujinomiya Trail is more congested than the last two but not as much as Yoshida. All the trails will be more congested towards the peak.
