Description

This route is for you if you prefer loops over out and backs.  Start anywhere along the route, but I challenge you to take this adventure going clockwise because you'll get a good workout ascending St. Louis Heights to Wa'ahila trail.

Enjoy a nice mix of road and trail; mud and dirt; incline, decline, and flat sections.  Do your homework and be prepared as you'll traverse a small section of the Ko'olau Summit Trail.  The best part of this route will be the beautiful views along Ka'au Crater ridge and Wa'ahila ridge trails.

If you underestimate the difficulty of this route no worries, there's plenty of gas stations, restaurants, or 7-11s along the route to buy nutrition.

Final point to remember, you must go to the end of "Waikiki Walls" during your loop.
