In the past, the Nasaleden measured a full 40 Swedish miles (400 kilometers) and went from Skellefteå all the way up to Nasafjäll. Today, the trail starts in Forsbacka (Krångfors) and then goes up to Glommersträsk. The trail passes through varied terrain and beautiful natural scenery. The trail also passes through an ancient kettle moraine area. This means that within an area of 10 square kilometers, there are about 365 lakes and fantastic environments.
