Route: National Mall 117K

The National Mall is home to iconic US monuments including the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. At the eastern end is the domed U.S. Capitol, and the White House is to the north. This routes is a repeated lap around the National Mall, which on one end arcs around the back of the Lincoln Memorial and on the other goes up the hill and crosses in back of the US Capitol. Each lap is roughly 5.25 miles long, and in total this route ends on lucky mile 73 (or 14 laps). It's an amazing way to experience such a historic location and the people who travel to experience it as well from near and far. So, lace up, grab some friends and enjoy the day!
