The Neckarsteig is a long-distance hiking trail and predicate hiking trail between Heidelberg and Bad Wimpfen (and vice versa). It is part of the Neckarweg. It owes its name to the river Neckar, above whose course it is located in the Odenwald.
All in all, the route is very varied and worth seeing. On the one hand, the environment changes constantly, from forest to meadow, from mountain to valley. On the other hand, it also offers cultural variety with a whole range of sights.
