The North Wales Pilgrims way is 136 Way modern way marked route that is based on the ancient pilgrim route celebrating the lives of the 6th century saints that bought Christianity to North wales.
The route Starts at Basingwerk Abby Holywell, the site of a holy well that has many miracles of healing attached to it, then takes in many ancient religious sites including a 7ft Celtic cross, Cathedrals, churches, wells and Waterfalls, megalith stones. the route enters parts of Snowdonia national park and to the town of Llanberis with the route taking in the views of the old slate mines that are now a UNESCO world heritage site also the route takes in north wales coastal path taking in the beautiful Lyn peninsula with its many beaches that leads to the end at aberdaron.
The route is very popular with walker and pilgrims alike.
