I hope this route gets some attention as it is a great addition to the routes in the Whites. It’s a full 100k, a loop, hits 10 of the 4ks, and spends time in the 2 wilderness areas. Lots of variety in the trails with nothing too technical and a good bit of runnable terrain. There are many start/stop locations, places to cache gear for self supported, and either direction would be great. Would make a great multi day backpack too. Water is abundant except for the stretch from the bottom of the Tripyramid north slide over to the descent of Passaconaway. There might be more options in there during a wet season though. Route is:
Greeley ponds to Osceolas, Tripoli rd to Tecumseh, down to Livermore and into the North slide of Tripyramid, Kate sleeper to Whiteface and Passaconaway, down Oliverian Brook to cross the Kanc, Sawyer pond past the pond and take the road, take unmarked trail at curve up to Signal Ridge (overgrown and a bit of a thrash), Signal ridge to Carrigain and down Desolation, Wilderness trail to Cedar Brook, Hancock loop over the Hancocks to the Hancock Notch Trail, and the last bit on the Kanc back to the start.
