Le Petit Défi GR® Sud Gâtine est une boucle qui a été créée à partir des GR® 36, 364 et des GRP® Sud Gâtine et Marches de Gâtine.
Cette boucle dont la topologie, bien qu'intéressante, est loin de représenter ce que affectionnent les traileurs, peut se révéler exigeante tant les relances sur les plats et les parties goudronnées sont nombreuses.
Mais l'un des attrait majeur de ce parcours, c'est qu'il emprunte les chemins typiques de la Gâtine en Deux-Sèvres.
Des chemins blancs bordés de haies, des côteaux au bords de petites rivières et des vallons ou des plaines vous attendent sur 50 km et 750 m D+ environ.
A noter que ce défi peut se réaliser dans les deux sens de la boucle et depuis n'importe quel point de départ du parcours !

The Petit Défi GR® Sud Gâtine is a loop that was created from the GR® 36, 364 and GRP® Sud Gâtine and Marches de Gâtine.
This loop, with the topology, although interesting, is far from representing what trail runners are fond of, can prove to be demanding as there are so many revivals on the flats and tarred parts.
But one of the major attractions of this route is that it takes the typical paths of Gâtine en Deux-Sèvres.
White paths bordered by hedges, hillsides along small rivers and valleys or plains await you on 50 km and 750 m D + approximately.
Note that this FKT can be done in both directions of the loop and from any starting point of the course!
