Beginning at the Pine Mountain Trail State Park in Elkhorn City and Breaks Interstate Park, traveling along the ridge line of Pine Mountain with luxurious views of Virginia and Kentucky to Little Shepherd Trail (mostly paved) through Kingdom Come State Park and into Harlan (or reverse). Explore the best views and wide biodiversity of Pine Mountain.

On Saturday February 18th my friend Kimberly Bundy and I will attempt a supported FKT on this route from Breaks Interstate Park traveling southwest primarily along the Pine Mountain ridge line to downtown Harlan, KY.  We will follow the route submitted by rickydaleearnhardt on 10/16/21.  As far as we know, this complete route has yet to be attempted. Â
