The Prescott Circle Trail is a ~56 mile loop that completely encircles Prescott, Arizona, showcasing the best of central Arizona’s high-desert and forest terrain. The mostly singletrack route passes through the iconic Granite Dells, winds by Watson Lake and Goldwater Lake, and skirts landmarks like Thumb Butte.
What makes it special is that it forms a true, continuous loop around a historic mountain town — accessible from numerous trailheads yet remote-feeling in long stretches. It offers sustained singletrack, rolling elevation, and varied scenery all within minutes of town, making it ideal for hiking, trail running, mountain biking, or bikepacking.
