Description

Reyes Peak is the highest point of the Pine Mountain ridge, in the Los Padres Forest, California. The Chorro Grande trail goes up the South face of Pine Mountain until it reaches the dirt road. From there, the route follows Pine Mountain road to Reyes Peak Trailhead. The summit is one mile away from the trailhead.

FKT route goes from Chorro Grande trailhead to trailhead, by road 33.

Running this in a few hours (morning of 4/18), solo, unsupported. Don’t imagine I’ll sniff the Garrett + Nick team time, but I’m stoked for this mini challenge after a heavy week of working on the land.
