Description

The Rheinschlucht Panorama Loop starts in Flims and leads first to the scenic Conn viewpoint, offering one of the best panoramas over the Rheinschlucht – the “Swiss Grand Canyon.” From Conn, the trail drops down into the gorge and follows the Rhine River for several kilometers on narrow singletracks and forest paths, surrounded by the steep white cliffs of the canyon.
After leaving the river, the route climbs back up towards Flims, offering repeated open views across the gorge from different angles. The final section passes two of Switzerland’s beautiful alpine lakes – the turquoise Caumasee and the Crestasee – before closing the loop in Flims.
It’s a varied alpine loop that combines flowing trails, steep climbs, and breathtaking scenery – from the depths of the Rhine canyon to serene lakes framed by mountain peaks.
