The route goes between Riozinho and Maquine, through dirt & country roads, lots of nature and little to none car traffic. It is a dirt road & single track, that basically only 4WD or bikes are able to cross, crossing a very remote and rural area. The first 15km pose an elevation gain of around 900m, then around 10km of low elevation gain, around 150m and then you will arrive at Serra da Boa Vista, one of the most beautiful views of the country, with views of the Atlantic Ocean and the foothills of Serra do Mar. From there to Barra do Ouro, at sea level, it is around 1,050m of elevation loss in less than 10km, on a very curvy road, with irregular pavement which makes it pretty technical. Upon arrival at Barra do Ouro, it is then 15km of flat dirt road until Maquine.
