The Trail of the Eagles' Nests follows the dramatic limestone ridges and valleys of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, tracing a historic route through southern Poland. True to its name, the trail connects a series of medieval castles and fortresses—known as the “Eagles’ Nests”—perched on high cliffs for strategic defense.
Spanning the Silesian and Lesser Poland Voivodeships, the route combines singletrack, dirt roads, and occasional paved segments, winding through forests, rocky outcrops, and rural villages.
