Description

Salt Spring Island is the largest and most populous of British Columbia’s Gulf Islands. Originally named “Admiral Island,” Salt Spring is served by three iconic BC Ferries routes and still proudly embodies a maritime heritage.

Salt Spring Island Ferry to Ferry is an 11km east to west run across the island, connecting the Long Harbour ferry terminal with Vesuvius ferry terminal. The route bisecting the island begins and ends with a hand on the BC Ferries terminal building. It’s a beautiful tour across pastoral landscapes and forested roads that honors Salt Spring’s maritime history and heritage.
