The Sea to Sky Trail is a lesser-known gem in southwestern British Columbia that runs between Squamish and Pemberton. As a designated spur of the Trans Canada Trail, it weaves together forest paths, hydro access roads, community trails, and parkland in a continuous ~111 km route. Despite the proximity to the Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99), much of the trail immerses you in wilderness.
It's a rare opportunity to hike long-distance through a stunning corridor—glacial rivers, mossy rainforest, rugged canyons, and old-growth trees—while passing through three mountain communities: Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton.
This trail is ideal for those seeking a multi-day adventure with easier logistics and exit points, without sacrificing solitude or natural beauty. The multi-use trail is very well maintained and minimal navigational skills are needed. As a through hike it can be accomplished in 4 days with camping at Starvation Lake, Cal-Cheak, and Whistler Riverside.
