The Camino Portugués, starting in Porto, is now one of the most well-known pilgrimage routes to Santiago. In addition to the traditional Camino Portugués Central through the inland and the Camino Portugués da Costa along the coast, a third route is gaining more and more attention: the Camino Portugués Coastal Path (Senda Litoral).
Those who take on this Camino can expect a varied hiking and pilgrimage journey along the Portuguese and Spanish coasts, passing charming fishing villages and scenic coastal towns that, from day one, offer plenty of cultural highlights for curious travelers.
