The Simcoe County Mountain Bike Club has a network of approx. 100 km of single track trails in the Township of Oro-medonte, ON. Specifically, these 7th & Bass Trails have 13 loops (Amos, Tustin, Crawford, Ed Sutherland, Crawford/Sanderson, Arbour, Johnson, Hutchison Brown, Strachan, Oro/Stratchan North, Walsh, Breedon and Schumacher). The goal of this FKT project is to run all of the perimeter trails (every red & black trail) of this trail system, including running between the trails. The runner must plan out their route accordingly and may start at any post junction # they wish, as long as they run all of the perimeter trails. (www.scmbc.ca) All of the trails are also on trailforks.com. Although you don't need to be a member to run in this trail network, you could easily donate to their club on their website. They do an amazing job with their trail building and maintenance.
