Description

This ultra-endurance coastal route naturally connects the Catalonia region with the Valencian Community, linking the iconic coastal towns of Sitges and Valencia. The start/end point is the Nàutic de Siges and the other end is the iconic "Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias de Valencia". The proposed continuous 350-kilometer track runs predominantly along the Mediterranean Sea, strategically combining technical singletrack sections of the established GR-92 long-distance trail with rolling segments of the EuroVelo 8. The goal is to establish a logical, demanding, and geographically significant baseline route for the global endurance community.

The terrain changes radically throughout the journey, demanding complex strategic management. The route begins with the high humidity and sharp coastal cliffs surrounding Sitges, moves into the completely flat but exposed and mentally grueling environment of the Ebro Delta, and then transitions into the rugged, arid, and isolated Sierra de Irta—a critical backcountry sector with zero fresh water sources. The final stretches follow coastal paths and connecting tarmac through Castellón and Sagunto, finishing in the city of Valencia.
