A well marked loop of 22,5 km comprised of mostly narrow singletrack (some dirt road and larger trails) through the cultural woods of the Finnish settlers.
Signs start (and stop) at the entrance to the Säfsnäs Hembygdsgård. After about 9 km you reach Finngården Skifsen where work is underway to recreate a typical forest homestead from the 1750-ies. The trail passes a lot of mires with single lane planks for the wettest parts (2 km of planks in total), but count on getting your feet wet (unless it's a particularly dry summers day). Nearing the end the route goes over Solberget @ 472 meters (the Sun Mountain), home to the ski resort Säfsen Alpin.
