This is a classic alpine route that begins at the top of the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish, BC and travels up the Shannon Basin to the Stadium Glacier and high point in the area, Sky Pilot Mountain. It involves some easy glacier travel and class 4 scrambling to summit the peak, but the majority of the route is non-technical. Can be done very quickly if snow conditions are good! This route is very popular and for good reason - it has a mix of runnable terrain, alpine meadows, snow travel and scrambling, is easily accessed from town, and is best climbed early season when most other objectives are still snowed in.
