The Suffolk Coast Path (previously known as the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Path) follows rights of way and permissive paths along the Suffolk coastline between Landguard Fort at Felixstowe and Lowestoft. It traverses low cliffs, foreshore, heath, marsh, river and sea walls. Some inland diversions are necessary because of coastal erosion. Passes Aldeburgh, Sizewell, Dunwich, Southwold and Kessingland.
A seasonal foot ferry is required to cross the River Deben near Bawdsey, on the outskirts of Felixstowe.
I created the GPX for this route using the OS Maps web app, following the marked long distance trail (cross-checking with LDWA). After doing this route yesterday I found there's an error on the OS map near Hollesley, shown at the location of this pin. The route on the ground follows the sea wall/riverbank - trying to follow the route on the OS map will end in a stinging nettle fight and impassable water channels!

There's a fixed GPX file for this here from OS maps or here from my blog.
