his route may not seem that daunting.... Upon leaving the parking lot, you'll be plunged into a gnarly and technical drop. This is the first of many. Somewhere around halfway to Koomer, the route gets MUCH easier (assuming it hasn't rained). Tag the parking lot at the end of the trail and trot it back!
There are bathrooms along the course, but nowhere to get water. Please either have water placed, carry plenty, or have someone crewing you.
It's a little hard to enjoy this route due to the demanding level of technicality. The first three miles are stunning to say the least, but I found it incredibly hard to divert my eyes from my feet. The descents take laser focus to run. Miles fly by as the literal struggle to survive consumes you... I found this route because my fiancé requested a hard route. This delivered like a kick to the jaw.
