This trail brings you to the well know peak in Tannheim: Neunerkopf. The route allows a steep ascent with 700 vertical meters on 3 km and a very nice downhill which is not very technical.
We start from Tannheim/Schmieden in the direction of Usseralpe. First on a well-maintained road to the junction Hubertushütte. Here the ascent becomes a little steeper. We follow the path to the Hubertushütte. From the Hubertushütte we have our destination clearly in sight. The following part is extremely steep on an alpine slope up to the mountain station. At the height of the mountain station, the last section towards the summit begins. The last part to the summit is wonderfully secured.
After reaching the top, we continue for a few meters on the back of the summit to the turnoff to the Usseralpe. Here we follow the path to the hut and then on a well maintained road which allows high speed to the starting point in Schmieden.
