This is a loop of three prominent peaks (North, Middle and South Sister) that can be seen from Kodiak Alaska. The South Sister is sometimes referred to as part of the Devil's Prongs Mountains. The trailhead to the North Sister starts on the west side of Monashka Bay Road from a shooting area. The shooting area is across the road from a large pullout. There are ridges connecting the three peaks and the trail is established. From the South Sister, the route descends from grass into the bush (generally about 1000' elevation in Kodiak) before following the base of the mountains northeast back to the road.
