Het trekvogelpad is een langeafstand wandelroute van de westkust naar het oosten.
De start is in Bergen aan Zee op het strand en loopt naar Enschede in de stad, via mooie paden in de natuur.
Het pad van 414 kilometer, ook wel ’Pieterpad-overdwars’ genoemd, is daarmee het langste natuurpad van Nederland. De wandeling loopt van Bergen aan Zee dwars door Midden-Nederland met als eindbestemming het oosten van Enschede. Een must voor ornithologen want de wandelroute van het Trekvogelpad loopt langs veel imponerende vogelnatuurgebieden. De Noord-Hollandse veenweiden, de Utrechtse Heuvelrug, de zandverstuivingen op de Veluwe en de Achterhoek: het Trekvogelpad laat het je tijdens een wandeling allemaal zien.

The route of 414 kilometers, also called 'Pieterpad-crossing', is therefore the longest nature trail in the Netherlands. The route runs from Bergen aan Zee straight through central Netherlands with the east of Enschede as its final destination. A must for ornithologists because the route passes many impressive bird nature reserves. The North Holland peat meadows, the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, the sand drifts on the Veluwe and the Achterhoek: the migratory bird route shows you all during a walk/run.
