Route: Ultra Foret (Belgium)

The Sonian Forest (Forêt de Soignes) is a large and diverse forest area outside Brussels that serves as recreational opportunity for walkers, runners, cyclists and others that appreciate nature. The different areas are specked with trails and routes and are interconnected for easy access. A group of runners have created this trail challenge during the Covid-19 lock down and the route takes you through all parts of the forest using the best trails and visiting numerous cultural, historic and natural sites. The route is approximately 60 km with 900 m of elevation and constantly changes going from section to section with different habitats and sites.
