Starting at Annett's Mono Village near Bridgeport, the route immediately ascends into the high mountains, crossing Mule, Burro, and Donohue Passes. Prepare for close encounters with the towering Sawtooths, Glen Aulin, the vast Lyell Canyon, the stunning expanse of Thousand Island Lake, and the jagged peaks of the Minarets. Your adventure wraps up with a clean, groomed descent into Mammoth, finishing at the Village Bridge.
Note: The route utilizes climber trails near Tuolumne Meadow and talus scrambling (up to class 2-3) near the Minarets. Be warned of the technical nature and plan accordingly.
