Description

At 2543m, Uludağ is the highest mountain in the Marmara region of Türkiye.

Uludağ forms a continuous ridgeline stretching in a southeast-northwest direction. The route can be completed in either directly. Beginning in the south east, the route kicks off from Fevziye village, hitting a steep ascent right out of the gate to gain the ridge. Following the ridgeline, you tag the Great Summit (Büyük Zirve) first, followed by the Minor Summit (Küçük Zirve). From that point, instead of bailing down the standard Mine descent (Maden), the route stays left to strictly follow the ridge, to achieve an unbroken ridge traverse.

To finish, the route descends the section that normally serves as the main climb for the Uludağ Ultra 30K course, finishing at Zeyniler. Ultimately, this links two villages situated on opposite foothills of the mountain. This is a highly demanding route—especially by Turkish trail standards—so arriving with solid training and proper physical prep is absolutely essential.
