The World Heritage Trail is a 100 km long hiking trail in Nordingrå, in the center of the World Heritage High Coast. The land-scape characterized by 10,000 years of land uplift, following the last Ice Age and by its deep inlets and valleys, lakes and steep hillsides. The trail passes several nature reserves, 29 villages and fishing villages and many sites of great natural beauty.
The World Heritage Trail consists of 14 sections, as described on the information boards placed along the route. Additional information on the terrain and the surface of the trail, accommodation, food & refreshments, etc. is available per section. Sections 13 and 14 are also part of the High Coast trail.
