This route follows the river Morava. According to its name historically whole region of Czechia is called Morava. The river springs under the top of Králický SněžnÃk mountain near border with Poland and flows down across whole country to confluence with river Donau in Bratislava, Slovakia. The river has length of 354 km and it is third largest river in Czechia
Idea of this route is to follow the river as close as possible. But goes upstream to give it a little bit of spice. The route uses hiking trails, bike paths, country roads and also roads (these are only 35 km). Because of its length one can find interesting differences between the lower part of the river and upper. Also different regions of country. River Morava has lot of nature protected areas which shows the beauty of the river landscape made through centuries. It gives also home to different species of animals.
